Marie Myrick is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with over 10 years experienced in the mental health field. Ms. Myrick has experience in seeing both children and adult patients. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University, and worked as charge Nurse, nurse manager, and director of behavioral health in an inpatient mental health hospital. She later received her Masters of Science degree in Mental Health from Walden University. Ms. Myrick has served as the Director of Nursing for Behavioral Health at the HCA Florida Capital Hospital. Ms. Myrick specializes in treating mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, substance abuse and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management and brief supportive psychotherapy for clients ages 10 and above. Ms. Myrick customizes an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, inter-professional collaboration, and evidenced-based practice. She does all these by emphasizing supportive education in a patient-centered environment, that empowers patients to adhere to their treatment plan. She is accepting new patients and telehealth is available.
