Heather Chasteen, APRN,PMHNP-BC

Heather is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 8 years experience in mental health psychiatric care settings. She has dedicated her career to helping her patients navigate frequent mental health challenges. She holds an Associate degree in Nursing from Tallahassee Community College, Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from University of West Florida, and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University.  As a Nurse Practitioner, she specializes in treating substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar spectrum, schizophrenia, ADHD, and PTSD. Her professional interests include educating patients in mental health issues, including psychotherapy.  Heather believes in the healing power of counseling a safe space where patients can feel comfortable in their treatment journey.
